At only 15, Teagan Littlechief made an unforgettable first impression at the celebrated GX94 contest in 2002, making history as the first from the First Nations community to secure the title. Her journey since then has been marked by a multitude of wins, including the 2022 SCMA Indigenous Artist Of The Year, the 2023 Indigenous Artist of the Year, and the last Queens Jubilee Award.
Her songs have topped the Indigenous Canadian Charts. Her most recent release January 7/2024, “Need You To Go”, saw Littlechief on the top 5 downloads 2 days in a row and as the weeks Yangaroo’s “Most Active Indie” (covering all genres)
Teagan has showcased her talent at multiple venues and festivals, opening for renowned acts like Emerson Drive, and playing such festivals as, Bow Valley Jamboree Music Festival, Muskoday Music Festive, Craven, and Country Thunder. Her crowning achievement was singing the National Anthem in three languages - English, French, and Cree, at the 109th Canadian Grey Cup, garnering widespread attention. Littlechief is renowned for her advocacy against Domestic Abuse and Substance abuse.
